Mudgee Library Portico Repairs

The existing portico roof drainage system is experiencing ongoing issues due to:

• A single sump outlet servicing the entire porch roof area, which is prone to blockage.
•  A redundant metal drum (former flagpole base) filled with concrete, located on a concrete plinth that divides the porch roof into two sections.
•  The left-hand roof section drains to the sump via a small opening at the base of the plinth, which can easily become blocked.
•  Failure of the existing waterproof membrane in multiple locations, allowing water ingress.
•  Cracked render beneath the membrane, enabling water penetration into the walling.
