Tender Description
Sutherland Shire Council is seeking proposals for the design and installation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, under 100kW and including battery storage, across six (6) Council sites identified as having high energy consumption. These sites include Sutherland, Engadine & Caringbah Leisure Centres, Engadine Community Centre, Ethell Road Depot Truck Wash Bay, and Bath Road Depot.
To reduce reliance on grid-supplied electricity and better manage ongoing energy demand, Council is requesting quotations for the full design and construction of a new Solar PV and battery storage system, along with all supporting infrastructure. The objective is to maximise the use of renewable energy, strengthen long-term energy resilience, and significantly reduce monthly operational costs.
