Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to supply Traffic Management Assessment and Approval Services.
The consultant will be working remotely, but on occasion, as required, will work out of the Principals offices, and will also, at the request of the Principal, conduct regular site visits as requested.
The Principal is a Local Government Authority located about 24 kilometers south of Perth's central business district.
The Principal performs its functions in accordance with the Local Government Act (WA) 1995 and among other statutory obligations under a wide range of state and federal legislation, the Principal has the responsibility for the orderly planning of the district under the Town Planning and Development Act (WA) 1928.
Suburbs administered by the Principal includes Atwell, Banjup, Treeby, Aubin Grove, Jandakot, Leeming (part), Hammond Park, Success, Wattleup, Henderson, Munster, Beeliar, Bibra Lake, Cockburn Central, Coogee, Coolbellup, Hamilton Hill, North Coogee, Lake Coogee, North Lake, South Lake, Spearwood, and Yangebup.
The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of contract award; with City instigated options to extend the period for one (1) subsequent year period and up to an additional twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.
The Contract is expected to commence in May 2026.
