Demolition of Buildings at Hughenden Showgrounds

As part of a wider program of upgrades at the Hughenden Showgrounds, Flinders Shire Council intends to demolish the existing buildings. This project will involve the full demolition and site clearance of the old Showgrounds Kitchen, Bar and Canteen buildings as well as the relocation of Secretary’s Office within the Showgrounds complex.

Buildings to be Demolished

•  Old Kitchen - approximately 231m2 – corrugated iron construction and concrete floor.
•  Bar - approximately 303m2 – corrugated iron, steel and mesh construction with concrete floor.
•  Canteen - approximately 104m2 – corrugated iron, steel and mesh construction with concrete floor.
