Tender Description
Sunshine Coast Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to construct a shared pathway along the north side of Emu Mtn Road, Peregian from Old Emu Mtn Rd to the David Low Way.
The proposed section of shared pathway stretches approximately 900 linear metres and comprises of a concrete pathway and a boardwalk. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
- Concrete pathway construction;
- Elevated boardwalk construction;
- Stormwater construction;
- Signage and line marking;
- Guardrail supply and installation;
- Supply and Installation of precast islands;
- Public utility alterations;
- Working with TMR in a TMR corridor in accordance with TMR approvals;
- Environmental management;
- Cultural Heritage management;
- WH&S management;
Council will appoint a Certifying Engineer in accordance with the requirements of the TMR conditional approval and a superintendent to assess and certify claims, EOT’s and variations.
As required by TMR’s prequalification system guidelines, all works within the State Controlled Road (SCR) boundaries valued in excess of $300,000 shall be carried out by a Local Authority or a Contractor, prequalified under the National Prequalification System.
For this project contractors are required to hold a minimum TMR prequalification of R2 B2 F10.
A site information session will not be held for this Tender. Respondents are to carry out their own due diligence in relation to familiarising with the site.
