Project goals

Camden Council invites tenders for the Construction of The Crest Stage 1 Open Space and Learn to Ride Facility at Gledswood Hills. A detailed description of the requirements can be found in Council’s Request for Tender document.

Stage 1 - Scope

The below shall be read in combination with all project design documentation (specifications, drawings, and technical reports).

The Contractor’s scope of works shall include, but not be limited to the following: 

General

1. Dilapidation Survey report as specified.

2. Removal of existing vegetation and site clearance.

3. Site establishment and temporary works as required to complete the works.

4. Provision of temporary fencing and ongoing management during the project duration.

5. Existing services locating and identifying works in accordance with the project specifications.

6. Protection of existing services in accordance with the project specifications.

7. Provision for all plant, labour, materials and equipment required for completion of the works.

8. Coordination of all (overground, underground) services.

9. Liaison with authorities and necessary approvals required for the completion works.

10. Conformance of quality control of the specified materials in accordance with the design drawings and specifications.

11. Management of all WHS requirements in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and all other applicable NSW work health and safety (WHS) legislation, acting as Principal Contractor.

12. Management of Environmental controls of the site in accordance with design drawings and specifications.

13. Removal of all waste from the site as specified.

14. Relocation, spread and machine compaction of excess spoil to the location as shown on plan and to levels to be determined onsite.

15. Reinstatement of areas disturbed during construction to pre-existing conditions to the satisfaction of the superintendent.

16. Post construction establishment and maintenance as specified.

17. Provision of Work as executed drawings (DWG & PDF) and construction certificates.
