Security Screening Services at Whyalla Airport

⁠⁠⁠The Whyalla City Council is seeking tenders to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake Aviation Security Screening at the Whyalla Airport, as required by the Department of Home Affairs for three (3) years with 2 x one (1) year rights of renewal commencing 24 August 2026 (indicative).

The Contractor must have and demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Department of Home Affairs, aviation security framework, disseminated by the Critical Infrastructure Security Centre (CISC).

The successful contractor will have technology and manual systems to record all activities and incidences, particularly for compliant driven and notifiable events. (Refer Schedule 14 – Proposal including Capability and Capacity).

Mandatory Site Briefing

A briefing session will be held at Whyalla Airport, Barngarla Road, Whyalla Norrie, SA, Australia, 5608 on 10:00 am 30 March 2026.

Notes: A Mandatory Site Briefing will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday 30 March 2026, at the Whyalla Airport Terminal Building, Barngarla Road, Whyalla Norrie SA 5608.

Tenderers are required to register their attendance, with participation limited to a maximum of two (2) representatives per organisation.Registrations must be submitted via email to procurement@whyalla.sa.gov.au no later than 3.00pm on Thursday 26 March 2026.

Please note: This will be the sole site inspection offered.Tenderers who do not register by the specified deadline will not be permitted to attend. Attendance at the site inspection is a mandatory requirement of the tender process.
