Traffic Control Services and Installation and Hire of Traffic Control Signage

⁠⁠⁠SMRC invites submissions from suitably qualified contractors holding current G10 accreditation to provide comprehensive traffic control services. This includes the supply, installation, and rental of traffic control signage required to support SMRC’s operational teams.

The engagement will cover all areas of SMRC’s operations, encompassing both reactive and planned maintenance across:

• The Council’s road network

• RMCC State Highways within the SMRC region

• Water and Wastewater maintenance programs

• Additional SMRC projects as required

Contractors must demonstrate the necessary expertise, experience, and resources to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient traffic management services across the full scope of SMRC works.

This engagement will involve a group of suitably skilled and competent providers who will support the Council’s daily operational functions across a range of service areas.

Successful respondents will be appointed under a one (1) year contract, with an option to extend for a further one (1) year, subject to performance and operational requirements.

Contractors will be expected to deliver the services detailed in the draft agreement for the duration of the engagement
