Tender Description
RFT for ICT Managed Services for a small Gov Agency (170 FTE) as per scope. All service delivery and data must be domiciled within Australia.
Project goals
This project aims to renew and strengthen the Commission’s ICT managed services by ensuring continuity of existing support while enabling improvements in service quality, security, compliance, and future scalability. The main objectives are:
- Maintain seamless continuity of ICT managed services to ensure stable, uninterrupted support for business‑critical operations and preserve existing capabilities during the transition and renewal period.
- Strengthen and uphold security and compliance by ensuring alignment with NSW Government cyber security requirements, policy obligations, and emerging threat landscapes, with continuous improvement where possible.
- Support scalability and future digital transformation by establishing a flexible, modern ICT services framework that can evolve with technology, growth, and strategic digital initiatives.
Scope
The high-level scope is:
- Service Desk (24x7x365);
- Onsite Support Services;
- Customer User Desktop Application Support (including Onsite);
- Network Infrastructure and Support
- Server Support
- Data Support
- Storage and Backup Management Infrastructure and Support
- Data Storage up to Protected level;
- AES 256 encryption (minimum) in transit and at rest;
- Comprehensive Disaster recovery and back-up capability and capacity;
- Information Security Services and Support
- 24 x 7 SOC and Security Information and Event Management system/s (SIEM);
- Active Directory Administration;
- Messaging and Collaboration
- Mobile Device Management Infrastructure and Support
- NSWCC O365 and Azure Tenant Management;
- Ensuring that all of the Commission's ICT is in compliance with all relevant NSW Government and the Commission policies, including all applicable Policies, Codes and Standards
- ISO27001:2022 compliance
- ACSC Essential 8 Compliance maturity level 2 targeting level 3
- Application allow listing software (currently using Airlock);
- Compliance audit and assurance assessment support;
- Other Agencies' applications/services - Support and Provisioning
- Software Infrastructure, support and Provisioning
- Platform Infrastructure, support and Provisioning.

Accessing RFT Documents on the Portal
All standard RFT documents are available for download within the opportunity on the Buy.NSW portal. The following documents are confidential and password‑protected:
- Statement of Work
- Overview of Commission Policies
- ICTA Agreement
- Service Level Agreement
To access these confidential documents and attend Tenderer Briefing, interested suppliers must:
- Download and sign the Non‑Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
- Submit the signed NDA to procurement@crimecommission.nsw.gov.au.
Once received, the Procurement team will provide the password via the same email to open the restricted documents.
Tenderer Briefing – 31 March 2026
Tenderer briefing will be held on 31 March 2026, comprising two separate sessions. Both sessions will cover the same information. Session Times:
- 10:00–11:30 AM
- 2:00–3:30 PM
Attendance is strongly recommended but not mandatory. Each supplier may nominate up to two attendees.
To register (mandatory), suppliers must email Procurement@crimecommission.nsw.gov.au with the following details:
- Attendee names
- Email addresses
- Preferred session (10 -11:30 am or 2 - 3:30 pm)
- Preferred attendance mode (in person or Microsoft Teams)
Please clearly indicate which session you wish to attend. Venue details or Teams links will be provided to confirmed participants.
Supplier Enquiries
