Tender Description
This funding, as part of the Stronger Communities Program, supports community groups with large or multiyear projects aimed to support organisations long term viability and improve infrastructure that serves as a public, cultural or community benefit.
The grant provides financial support to help:- Enhanced community infrastructure – Supporting upgrades and improvements that create safe, functional, and welcoming spaces for community use
- Greater accessibility & inclusion – Ensuring facilities are accessible to all community members, fostering participation and equity
- Sustainable & future-ready facilities – Investing in upgrades that improve environmental sustainability and long-term resilience of community assets
| Funding options | Funding approach |
| Multiyear funding | Apply for the full amount across three years to support a staged approach to project delivery.
Payment of year two and three instalments are dependent on the successful completion of an annual acquittal of the previous year’s project. |
| Single-year funding | Apply for a portion or the full amount to deliver the project within one year. |
Outcomes will be provided to applicants within 8 weeks of the grant closure date.
Applications will be open twice per year.
The 2025/26 program will be open from 23 March to 19 April 2026.
Round 1 of the 2026/27 program will be open from 10 August to 6 September 2026.
