ISD Services Division (ISD) is responsible for enabling Information and Communication Technology (ICT) functions and activities in the department. The division provides a secure, modern ICT environment so that the department can conduct its business 24/7 and focus on achieving departmental outcomes. ISD staff work collaboratively across the department, taking advantage of advances in technology, to deliver end-to-end services and solutions that are nationally consistent and deliver organisational and business benefits.
Based in ISD, the Capital Security, Technology and Asset Refresh (CapSTAR) program was established to remediate and sustain critical property and ICT assets across the department. The program has eight streams of work, with over 35 projects across the program. Due to the large scale and complex nature of the program, Change Management and Communication capability is critical to ensuring that projects and change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee understanding, adoption and usage.
We are seeking the services of Organisational Change Manager to ensure that the required capability exists in the Program. This position is based in the CapSTAR Program Management Office and will focus on the change activities required to support the program of work, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, positions and organisation structures.
The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management and communication strategies and plans for a number of projects across the program. These artefacts will need to align and support our overall delivery, benefit realisation and the achievement of project outcomes.
In addition to supporting the CapSTAR program, the Organisational Change Manager will contribute change management and communication capability to the broader Division where required. This may include supporting divisional initiatives, cross‑program priorities and whole‑of‑division change activities to ensure alignment, consistency and effective adoption of ICT‑related changes across the department.
