Facilities Maintenance Services Cleaning and Waste management at Synergy Sites

Synergy has a requirement to source a supplier for provision of Facilities Maintenance Services Cleaning and Waste management across Synergy Sites.

The Scope of works consists of:

Lot 1

Muja Power Station scheduled plant cleaning - requires the services of general cleaners to perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, hosing etc. Cleaning duties will be at scheduled intervals on a recurring basis.  The ongoing operation and maintenance requirements at Muja power station require a permanently based scheduled cleaning team working normal hours Monday to Friday on a five day week basis.

Muja Power Station unscheduled industrial cleaning, vacuuming and high pressure water jetting – requires specialist services of competent personnel fully trained in the use of high pressure jetting with a capacity of 1000bar minimum and the use of mobile plant and equipment including large mobile industrial vacuum units.  Duties will be unscheduled on an as-required basis.  The ongoing operation and maintenance requirements at Muja power station require a permanently based team working normal hours Monday to Friday on a five day week basis however some overtime and weekend work may be required as requested by the Synergy contract user.    

Synergy may also require services for scheduled maintenance outages on an as-required basis. This service would be in addition to general operation and maintenance requirements.

Muja Power Station domestic cleaning – requires the services of general cleaners to perform janitorial cleaning services such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, scrubbing and general cleaning services for the Muja administration and workshop offices, control rooms, laboratory’s, canteens, meal areas and ablutions.

Kwinana Power Station and Cockburn Power Station light industrial cleaning - requires the services of cleaners to perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and hosing. General cleaning duties at Kwinana, Cockburn and Pinjar power stations will be at scheduled intervals on a part time recurring basis. 

Regional sites located at Kalgoorlie and Mungarra typically require general cleaning services on a quarterly basis when requested.

Kwinana Power Station, Cockburn Power Station, Pinjar and remote power stations industrial cleaning, vacuuming and high pressure water jetting - industrial cleaning requires the specialist services of competent personnel fully trained in the use of high pressure jetting equipment, mobile large industrial vacuum units and other mobile plant and equipment required for this cleaning.

Industrial cleaning services at Kwinana, Cockburn, Pinjar and the regional power stations will be engaged on an as required basis with varying levels of urgency based on the situation.

Kwinana Power Station, Cockburn Power Station, Pinjar and remote power stations domestic    cleaning - requires the services of cleaners to perform janitorial cleaning services such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, scrubbing and general cleaning.          

Cleaning duties are performed daily at the Kwinana and Cockburn Power Stations with the majority of the cleaning scope undertaken in normal working hours, being Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm.   

The operational control rooms at Cockburn and the site security facilities require cleaning seven days per week. Cleaning duties at Pinjar are typically undertaken after normal working hours (normal working hours are between 7:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday).

Lot 2

Muja Power Station scheduled general landfill waste management - Synergy is seeking the services of an experienced contractor to manage all of Synergy’s general land fill waste and recyclables at the Muja Power Station.

Muja Power Station unscheduled controlled waste – Synergy is seeking the services of an experienced, competent and licenced Department of Water and Environment Regulation (DWER) controlled waste carrier to collect and remove controlled waste from the Muja Power Station.

Kwinana / Cockburn Power Station scheduled general landfill waste management - Synergy is seeking the services of an experienced contractor to manage all of Synergy’s general land fill waste and recyclables at Kwinana and Cockburn Power Stations.

Kwinana / Cockburn Power Station unscheduled controlled waste management - Synergy is seeking the services of an experienced, competent and licenced DWER controlled waste carrier to collect and remove controlled waste from Kwinana and Cockburn Power Stations.

GTDG Gas Turbine Stations general landfill waste management - Synergy is seeking the services of an experienced contractor to manage all of Synergy’s general land fill waste and recyclables at the Pinjar, Mungarra and West Kalgoorlie Gas Turbine Stations.

GTDG Gas Turbine Stations and Wind/Diesel Stations unscheduled controlled waste management - Synergy is seeking the services of an experienced, competent and licenced DWER controlled waste carrier to collect and remove controlled waste from the Pinjar, Mungarra and West Kalgoorlie Gas Turbine Stations and also the Coral Bay, Bremer Bay and Hopetoun Wind/Diesel Stations.

Synergy preference is for a single supplier to perform the required services across all sites.
