Tender Description
Junee Shire Council (Council) is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the supply of IT Managed Services in support of the in-house IT Support team in accordance with the requirements identified in the Scope of Works/contract.
A partnership between Council and an IT Managed Services Provider (MSP), who have the in-house expertise to assist in Council’s Information Technology department in IT operations and the successful delivery of strategic objectives:
- Improving system reliability and security of existing hardware and software platforms.
- Modernising application, network and server infrastructure that support Council staff and the Junee Shire community.
- Enhancing IT Service Design, and Delivery of Council IT staff.
- Enhancing audit and reporting capabilities for Council systems.
- Continual improvement of Council’s cyber security posture.
Works are anticipated to include:
a. Consultancy
b. Project resourcing
c. Routine maintenance and technical support
d. Potential supply of hardware items
e. Potential supply of supporting Software license items
The contract will specify a monthly retainer to the deliver an agreed scope of works below, and a schedule for fixed hourly rates for IT consultancy, project resourcing, and technical assistance for issues escalated by Council’s own IT Support team.
The contract will be initially signed for three (3) years from the date of council’s acceptance of the supply of the IT Managed Services
Council may extend the agreement up to three (3) occurrences, for another one-year period, subject to the re-signing of the Contractor agreement by the Contractor and Junee Shire Council, provision of the appropriate updated insurances/certifications and rates before expiry and a successful review conducted by Council based on the assessment of the Contractor’s prior performance and newly submitted rates.
