Executive Recruitment – Short Term Contract for Director Corporate Services

Weddin Shire Council in Grenfell NSW is located in a picturesque valley at the foot of the Weddin Mountains. Home of fine heritage architecture as well as affordable housing, the town offers great lifestyle options.

Weddin Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest(PDF, 354KB) (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced recruitment service providers for:

1. a short-term appointment of Director Corporate Services, and
2. the end-to-end delivery of executive recruitment services for the role of Full-Time Director Corporate Services.

The Director Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in managing the operations of Council’s Corporate Services Directorate to ensure compliance with Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework (IP&R) requirements and leads the customer services/financial services/arts/tourism/economic development/events/information services/governance services/records management services functions of Council. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team who are responsible for the overall strategic direction, management and administration of Council.

The scope of work for this project is set out below in two phases which will incorporate the short-term appointment of a Director Corporate Services to commence as soon as possible whilst recruitment activities are undertaken; and for the end-to-end recruitment process for the position, including identifying and assessing potential candidates who meet the specified criteria and are a strong cultural fit for the organisation.
