Port Macquarie Coastal Walkway Repairs

Port Macquarie Hastings Council invites submissions for the repair works to the Coastal Walkway located at the eastern end of Town Beach, Port Macquarie. The scope of works requires the appointed contractor to undertake all construction activities necessary to meet the geotechnical requirements provided within this documentation.

Council is seeking to engage an experienced and suitably qualified contractor to restore the Coastal Walkway, which sustained damage during the May 2025 flood event. All works must be completed to a high-quality standard and in full compliance with the Specifications outlined in the RFP Particulars of the Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation.

A pre-tender briefing will be held at the eastern end of Town Beach, Port Macquarie at 9.00 am, Thursday, 12th March 2026. Attendance at this briefing is a mandatory requirement of participation.

Potential Tenderers must register for Briefing/inspection by 11th March 2026.
