Request for tender – Development of a multimodal Southern Rangelands resource package for sheep
Tender ID: 607648
Tender Details
Tender Description
Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) is seeking suitable service providers to generate a multimodal resource package for producers that are tailored to best practice sheep production in the Southern Rangelands.
Previous MLA investments have targeted the Southern Rangelands feedbase and mixed livestock systems, but few resources have been generated which specifically focus on the nuances of sheep production and the reproductive cycle in the Southern Rangelands. Compounding this, limited scientific evidence and a reliance on anecdotal information has created a need for dedicated best practice messaging tailored to the rangelands environment for Merino and shedding sheep genotypes.
The successful project will be funded via the sheep and lamb levy funding stream. For projects to be funded, they must undergo Red Meat Panel endorsement prior to progressing through the MLA governance process. For more information on the sheep industry levy funding system please see here.
For further details, please see the project Terms of Reference.
Use the full application template to submit proposals electronically to MLA at: projectcall@mla.com.au
Deadline:
Full proposals must be received by MLA before 11.59pm (AEDT) Friday 27 March 2026. Late proposals will not be accepted.
