Provision of a technical expert to evaluate the current list of deemed diseases in Australia.
Scope of Services
The successful supplier must:
• Develop and agree a detailed review methodology, including:
o Search strategy
o Inclusion/exclusion criteria
o Evidence grading framework
o Quality appraisal approach
• Conduct systematic literature reviews covering:
o Peer-reviewed scientific research
o Epidemiological studies
o Meta-analyses
o Relevant international regulatory determinations
• Assess:
o Strength of evidence of causation
o Consistency of findings
o Dose-response relationships (where applicable)
o Emerging evidence
• Prepare:
o Interim findings report
o Draft final report
o Final report incorporating Agency feedback
• Provide clear, defensible recommendations supported by evidence grading.
