The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Pick-up shelter at Strathpine West SS, located at 16/22 Garbala Drive, Strathpine QLD 4500, as part of the School Transport Infrastructure Program (STIP) program.

The new shelter includes PWD compliant walkway and ramps, new gate and fence modifications, bench seating and covered structure. The position of the building is at the back of the school with good site access and working space. All works are to be completed by June 2026.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
