Momentum Business Improvement Workshop Series – a SAVI initiative for GPs and Allied Health

The Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN is pleased to announce that the Momentum Business Improvement Specialists are returning in 2026 to deliver a series of in-person workshops across the region as part of the PHN's Sustainability and Viability Initiative (SAVI).

These practical business development workshops are hands-on, designed specifically for general practice and allied health business owners, business managers, and partners.

General practices and allied health practices that have participated in SAVI during 2025-26 are eligible to participate in this unique opportunity.

Valued at $865.00, this workshop is co-funded by the PHN and is available to practices for only $165.00.

The one-day workshops will be held at Newcastle, Armidale and the Central Coast providing an opportunity for practices across the region to attend.

Workshop locations and dates

• Newcastle – Friday 20 March: Program topic - The Profit Accelerator and Delegating Management
• Armidale – Thursday 30 April: Program topic - The Profit Accelerator and Time Management
• Central Coast – Friday 26 June: Program topic - The Profit Accelerator and DiSC Profiling

Workshop descriptions

• The Profit Accelerator: This program teaches you the system and strategies to double your profits and guides you step-by-step through creating your 1-page Profit Powercell Plan.
• Delegating Management: This course lays out a simple step-by-step system for how to get your people to actually do what you want them to. You'll finally have a fool-proof method of effectively delegating.
• Time Management: Our most valuable resource is time. Without it we have nothing...master it and we can achieve unbelievable things. If you feel like you are out of control and have days when you achieve nothing, then this is a great course for you
• DiSC Profiling: DISC is a practical tool that helps you understand your communication style and how it impacts others. Learn how to adapt your approach with different personality styles to reduce friction, improve teamwork, and get better outcomes with teammates, clients, and referrers.

Application

SAVI-participating general practices and allied health practices are invited to apply to attend this workshop series, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). Submitting an EOI does not guarantee attendance, successful applicants will receive a ticket link for their chosen location. There are limited places available and previous workshops have been popular so we recommend getting in early to avoid disappointment.
