Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Australian Government Digital and ICT investments appoint a Senior Responsible Official (SRO), being the official within an agency who has overall accountability for the successful realisation of the investment’s agreed outcomes and objectives. Typically, the SRO appointed would be an officer of the Senior Executive Service (SES) of the Australian Public Service, with primary oversight of the programs/projects delivering to realise the agreed outcomes and objectives. In this capacity, the SRO has the authority to make decisions affecting the progress of the relevant program or project. While not responsible for the day-to-day management of the program or project, they play a vital role in in ensuring good governance to support successful delivery.
Digital Governance Program (DGP) for SROs: SROs accountable for delivering the Government’s future digital projects are required to undertake the DTA’s Digital Governance Program (Program), as a mandatory requirement for all newly approved digital projects, commencing from the 24-25 Budget. The two-day Program’s structure and course curriculum include theory and simulation-based activities, that are carefully planned and curated to reflect the challenges and issues faced by complex digital projects to educate and uplift digital governance capabilities across the SRO cohort. The DTA successfully launched and has completed several program deliveries already, with more scheduled for 2026.
The DTA is seeking to engage a qualified and suitably experienced facilitator at the Portfolio Manager level (or above) to act as a Co-Facilitator to support DGP delivery for 2026.
