Sport Integrity Australia operates a PROTECTED network and, as an agency we must implement strengthened security controls to safeguard sensitive information that could compromise or cause harm to national, organisational, or individual interests. These controls ensure compliance with requirements of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the Essential 8 requirements.

The PSPF states that any compromise of sensitive or security‑classified information can adversely affect government business. Therefore, strict controls help ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
