Tender Description
Overview
Multicultural Grants Program (MGP) Celebrate provides short-term funding to assist with organising, promoting and running of cultural events, activities and festivals that promote social inclusion, cohesion and cultural and linguistic diversity. The guidelines provide information to assist with applying for and acquitting grants under the MGP. Round 1 is open from 1 - 31 March each year. This round generally covers events and activities commencing from July.
Who can applyFunding is available to not-for-profit organisations only.
To be eligible for funding an organisation must
- be operating as a not-for-profit organisation
- be physically located and actively operating in the NT
Types of organisations that are eligible for funding include
- Not-for-profit and/or charitable incorporated multicultural community organisations
- Not-for-profit and/or charitable incorporated multicultural community organisations that are in partnership with other organisations to deliver a project
- Not-for-profit unincorporated multicultural community organisation that has an auspice organisation that has agreed to administer the grant
- Other incorporated, not-for-profit and/or charitable organisations where a proposed project meet the grant aim and criteria
