Build and provide ongoing hosting/support of a new Audit Office website

⁠⁠⁠Project goals

The Audit Office is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers that would like to participate in a future Request for Quote (RFQ) to build and provide ongoing hosting/support of a new Audit Office of New South Wales (the Customer) external website (the Solution). The existing external website is http://www.audit.nsw.gov.au

The Audit Office will review the EOIs and invite shortlisted firms to participate in a future RFQ. The formal RFQ is expected to be released by 30 April 2026.

Scope

Please provide a high level capability statement demonstrating your experience and capability in building and maintaining websites. The capability statement should include:

• experience with different content management systems
• experience in designing websites that are mobile-first, use inclusive design principles and meet at least AA (ideally AAA) accessibility standards, and offer powerful search engine functionality
• examples of recent website builds delivered for other customers
• the ability to work within short time frames to achieve a successful outcome
• experience in hosting and supporting website
• experience in migrating content from legacy platforms.

Additional details/instructions

• The Audit Office is looking to engage a supplier that:
• has extensive cloud-based infrastructure experience
• has experience in building websites using contemporary content management systems
• can demonstrate it can work collaboratively with the customer to develop a solution that delivers an exceptional user experience
• can host the website with 99.95% availability (excluding planned maintenance)
• can offer 24x7x365 support
• provides Australian-based support and delivered in accordance with defined ITIL processes
• offers a customer portal or service desk facility for reporting, alerts and incident
• can protect the website against common cyber threats including denial‑of‑service attacks, malicious code injection, unauthorised access, automated bot abuse, data interception, and exploitation of software vulnerabilities, in line with contemporary government and industry security best practice
• is accredited at an advanced level under M06 – Web Design and Content Management Services
• has ISO 27001:2013 website hosting and platform management certification (desirable).
