Tender Description

The objective of Work Package 16c is to carry out the procurement, installation and commissioning of various electrical equipment in the subdivision area of the Lumsden Point development. WP16c combines two distinct scopes:

Procurement and installation of HV cabling, generally installed in existing underground conduits.
Procurement and installation of LV cabling and uni-pillars for the streetlighting, generally installed in existing underground conduits.
Liaison with Horizon Power to connect new HV feeder mains.
Testing, commissioning, energisation and handover.

Online Briefing

An online briefing session will be held on 6 Mar, 2026 10:00 AM.

A mandatory tender briefing and Site visit will be organised for Friday, 6 March 2026 as per the details below.

Mandatory Tender Briefing

A mandatory Tender briefing will be organised on Friday, 6 March 2026 commencing at 10:00 am WAST. Tenderers will be allowed to attend the mandatory tender briefing online only, provided that at least one of their participants also attends the mandatory Site Visit.

All costs incurred for the Tender briefing are to be borne by the Tenderer.

Tenderers are required to register a maximum of 2 in-person participants for the Tender briefing by 4pm Wednesday 4 March 2026 via rebecca.wilkinson@pilbaraports.com.au.

Once registered, the registered participants will be sent an invite to the Tender briefing containing the link to join the Microsoft Teams hosted event.

Tenderers are informed that any discussions held during the Tender briefing may be recorded and will be issued as Addenda.

Recording or use of AI by Tenderers, during the tender briefing is prohibited

Site Visit

A mandatory site visit will be organised on Friday, 6 March 2026 commencing at 12:00pm WAST. All costs incurred for site visits are to be borne by the Tenderer. Tenderers are required to register a maximum of 2 participants for the site visit by 4pm Wednesday 4 March 2026 via rebecca.wilkinson@pilbaraports.com.au.

Tenderers are informed that any discussions held during a site visit may be recorded and issued as Addenda.

The Tenderer must ensure that when visiting the Site its personnel do so in accordance with PPA’s safety and other requirements. The Tenderer is required to wear full Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (PPE) during the site visit. Full PPE consists of safety footwear; safety helmet (hard hat); safety glasses with side shields to AS/NZS 1337 standard; high visibility clothing; long sleeve shirt and trousers; protective clothing as necessary and hearing protection as necessary.
