Tender Description
TDC is seeking a contractor to install approximately 127m of new DN125 PN12.5 PE100 watermain in a new alignment and 122m of new DN600 concrete pipe at the proposed abandoned DN100 cast iron watermain along Jonas St.
The work includes, but is not limited to:
- Site establishment and set-out.
- Contract supervision, project management, and quality assurance.
- Implementation of the approved Health & Safety Plan, Traffic Management Plan (TMP), and Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (ESCP).
- Identification, protection, and support of all existing underground and overhead services, including liaison with utility authorities and affected property owners.
- Supply, welding, and installation of approximately DN125 PN12.5 PE100 watermain, including all fittings, bends, tees, reducers, thrust blocks, and connections to existing reticulation as per drawings and specifications.
- Supply and installation of sluice valves, fire hydrants, rider mains, service connections (including lateral replacements and new manifolds/toby boxes) and new valve boxes.
- Supply and install new DN600 concrete main in the proposed abandoned watermain, removal and dispose of the cast iron watermain in the trench.
- Construction and formwork of the concrete structure connection to the existing DN2250 concrete stormwater main.
- Installation of 3 concrete manholes.
- Testing, flushing, chlorination, microbiological testing and commissioning of the new watermain as per TDC requirements.
- Flushing, water test and CCTV of the new stormwater pipes and manholes as per TDC requirements
- Completion of as-built drawings.
- Reinstatement of all disturbed areas including roads, footpaths, berms, driveways, and private property in accordance with TDC standards.
- Site disestablishment and demobilisation.
