Panel of Providers Depot Workshop Services

⁠⁠⁠Byron Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to join a panel of providers for the supply of Depot Workshop Mechanical Services.

The Mechanical Services Panel will support Council’s Depot Workshop in servicing and maintaining Council’s vehicle fleet, plant, and machinery. Establishing this panel is intended to improve efficiency, compliance, service consistency, and value for money.

The panel will be structured into the following service categories:

1. Private workshop-based mechanical services

2. On-call mechanical services based at Council’s Depot Workshop

3. Mobile mechanical services for field-based servicing and repairs

Tenderers may submit for one, multiple, or all categories.

Interested organisations must complete and submit the applicable returnable schedules in Part B to be considered for inclusion on the panel. Part B of this Request for Tender contains two Response Schedules: one applicable to Small Contractors and one applicable to Standard Contractors. Tenderers must complete the Response Schedule that corresponds to their organisational size and structure, as defined in this document.

The Contract term will be three (3) years, subject to satisfactory performance as determined by Council. Two (2) optional extensions of one (1) year each may be offered at Council’s sole discretion.

Enquiries in relation to this Request for Tender must be directed to the Contact Person via the online forum on the nominated tender website. The anticipated contract commencement date is 1 April 2026.

On selection, successful Tenderers will be required to enter into a Contract with Council in the same or substantially similar form.
