This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) is undertaking a broader program of work to uplift digital accessibility maturity across its online services, applications and supporting platforms. Digital services are provided by several branches, each with its own approach to accessibility, technology setups, and development methods. As the number of digital products continue to grow, there is an increased need for independent accessibility assessments aligned to current government policies and standards.
The department is seeking to engage one or more external accessibility auditing providers under a Head Agreement who have the experience and capability to provide the expertise to conduct independent evaluations of nominated departmental websites and applications against government mandated accessibility standards.
These services will support the departments compliance with (but not limited to):
- the Disability Discrimination Act 1992
- the Digital Experience Policy (DX Policy)
- whole-of-government accessibility expectations, and internal departmental policies requiring conformance with WCAG 2.2 for all digital products.
