Powerhouse seeks an international publicity agency to develop and implement a strategy that builds and expands global awareness of this significant project.

Project goals

The primary objectives of this engagement are to work with Powerhouse’s Communications team to develop and implement a strategic international communications and media program that enhances global awareness, reputation and engagement with the Powerhouse Parramatta outside of Australia.

Scope

The successful service provider will provide international strategic communications and publicity services to support the announcement and launch of the Powerhouse Parramatta Opening Program in 2026. The scope of work to be included in the selective RFQ includes:

• Collaboration on Strategic International Communications Planning.
• International Public Relations and Media Relations.
• International Publicity Campaign Management.
• Stakeholder Communications Support.
• Reporting, Evaluation and KPIs

1. TENDERERS SUBMISSION

Your Request for Tender Response will include:

1. Cover letter including individual, company or partnership details including key contact person, website, email, and phone contact details.

2. Provide an outline of your approach to developing and implementing an international publicity strategy for the phased announcements leading up to the Powerhouse Parramatta opening in October/November 2026.

3. Provide CVs or biographies of project team outlining their relevant experience and their roles in providing the services.

4. Provide evidence of achieving arts, culture, design, architecture and travel sector media for previous clients by providing a minimum of two (2) case studies.

5. Supply at least two written industry references who may be contacted by the assessment panel to provide confirmation of the claims made in respect of the capacity, capability and performance history of the respondent. Please include company name, contact name, contact position, contact email and phone and details regarding the services provided.

6. Provide a detailed fee proposal that includes fees for:

• International publicity strategy
• Monthly retainer
• Disbursements
• Allowances for travel if required
