The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for the design and construction (D&C) of the Roof Repairs project at Nundah State School. This tender is for a principal contractor to undertake the entire scope of works.

The project scope entails roof repairs to Blocks A (heritage listed), B & C including reinstatement of roof tiles, mortar pointing & guttering. All works to be carried out in accordance with the Roof Report and Conservation Management Report (provided within the tender package). The works are required to be delivered during the April school holidays.

The appointed principal contractor will be responsible for the full scope of works including design and obtaining the relevant certifications (except for heritage approval - EdgePM to engage heritage architect). The contractor must deliver a solution that reflects the school’s vision while meeting all applicable building codes, Australian Standards, and DoE guidelines.

Tenderers must hold the following licences and insurances, with proof to be provided upon request:

• QBCC Licence

• Professional Indemnity Insurance (to value of $1 million in accordance with the contract)

• Public Liability Insurance

• WorkCover Insurance
