New Gresford Bridge

1. PURPOSE:

Dungog Shire Council is seeking tenders for the New Gresford Bridge, Paterson River, Gabulah Road, Gresford.

The scope of work includes the design and construction of a concrete bridge and demolition of the existing bridge.

2. INVITATION:

Any suitably qualified person willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract is invited to submit a Tender to Dungog Shire Council by the deadline 2:00pm Thursday 2 April 2026 Closing Date. Responsibility for lodgement of completed tender documents by the deadline lies solely with the Tenderer. Tender lodgement information is provided in Item 7 below.

Pricing is to be on a lump sum fixed price basis in accordance with the Pricing Schedule being Schedule 2 Section 4 of this Invitation to Tender.

3. TENDER DOCUMENTS:

The tender documents are available from the Dungog Shire Council's E-Tendering portal.

4. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION:

All enquiries relating to the proposed contract must be submitted in writing on the tender notice. Under no circumstances are Tenderers to submit an enquiry relating to the proposed contract either directly or indirectly to any other representative of Council, its employees or any other consultants engaged by Council on this project except for the Contact Person specified in the Tender Summary. All responses to requests for information will be posted by Council

5. MANDATORY PRE-TENDER MEETING:

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on site on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, commencing at 10.00am. Tenderers should allow approximately two hours for the meeting plus travel time.

Tenderers will be required to sign in at the beginning of the pre-tender meeting and then to sign out at the completion of the site meeting as evidence of attendance.
