Provision of Allied Health Services for Canterbury Leisure & Aquatic Centre

⁠⁠⁠Project goals

We are seeking an Allied Health provider that will provide a service to the community within the parameters of allocated clinical space within the Canterbury Leisure & Aquatic Facility. In addition to the dry space there is the option to utilise pool lane space to allow the successful provider to service the community.

Requested Services

We are seeking a provider to utilise all aspects of the unique space with both dry space and pool space.

a. Physiotherapy or Chiropractic Services

b. Hydrotherapy

c. Remedial Massage and/or

d. Other related services which may include Basic Rehabilitation for issues including, but not limited to, sporting or motor vehicle accidents or injuries Council also invites tenderers to suggest potential additional related and appropriate services.

Subcontracting

Tenderers should be aware that this is not a service that Council will permit to be sub-contracted.

Other Notes

All clients participating in the service provided by the successful tenderer are required to pay a facility entry fee as per Council’s approved Fees and Charges schedule.

•  65m sq
•  Aircon – 1 (distribution required)
•  PowerPoints – 4
•  Accessible WC - 1
•  1 Entry door with electronic access
•  Operating hours as per CLAC opening hours (Excluding Public Holidays)

Lane Space Allocated

•  Indoor warm water pool
•  2 x Lanes exclusive use for 5 hour per day (Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri)
•  Between 7-12pm, according to the contractor’s preference.
•  Operating hours as per CLAC opening hours (Excluding Public Holidays)
•  Additional lane space available at an external cost subject to availability

Dry Space Allocated

•  Gym access maximum 1 Allied Health Professional with 1 client at a time
•  Group Fitness and Pilates room use subject to availability
