EOI - Badu Island - Modular/prefabricated housing solutions

Torres Strait Island Regional Council (TSIRC) invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified Respondents for the building/manufacture, transport, delivery, and installation of modular homes to remote outer island communities within the Torres Strait Island Region, as described in more detail in Part 4 – Scope.

This EOI seeks to identify and shortlist proponents with demonstrated capability in delivering full turnkey modular/prefabricated housing solutions in remote locations. This includes experience managing complex logistics, constrained local infrastructure, marine freight, and remote workforce mobilisation.

The project comprises three separate sites, each requiring the delivery and installation of one (1) four-bedroom modular dwelling.

Through this process, TSIRC also aims to establish a strong working relationship with suitably qualified proponents to support the delivery of future housing projects (subject to separate tender processes).
