Otautau Water Main Renewal - Queen Street and Knutsford Road

The works comprise watermain and fittings renewals on Queen Street and Knutsford Road in Otautau, Southland.

The contract works includes but are not limited to:

• Supply and install DN125 PE100 SDR13.6 (PN12.5) & DN180 PE100 SDR13.6 ((PN12.5) watermain pipe including valves, hydrants, connections and any other related fittings. (Fittings to be PN16)

• Supply and install DN25 PE80B PN12.5 or larger to match existing water laterals, toby boxes and all other required fittings.

This contract is a ‘measure and value’ contract as defined by general conditions of contract, clause 2.1.1. Under this form of contract, it is the tenderer’s responsibility to:

a) Confirm quantities required to construct the contract works

b) Identify, assess and manage risk; and

c) Establish the optimal methodology to comply with the requirements of the contract documents.
