The Enterprise project management specialist (EL1) is a new position within the SIO responsible for supporting the delivery of the SIO’s portfolio of strategic initiatives and establishing, implementing and operating an organisation-wide standardised program and project delivery framework.

This recruitment will support a multi-year program of initiatives aimed at delivering improvements across the organisation, including systems and process enhancements, capability uplift, and the implementation of key projects aligned to AIHW priorities.

The EL1 will be responsible for the effective delivery of Strategic initiative 6: establishment and implementation of an organisation-wide standardised program and project delivery framework. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders including the working group, executive leads and the wider organisation. They will report on the progress of the initiative to in-line with current governance requirements. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, applying contemporary program and project management practices tailored to each initiative. The position is dynamic and requires a proactive, solutions-focused approach to support delivery, manage risks, and achieve agreed milestones.
