Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Department for Energy and Mining (DEM), through the Strategic Policy and Delivery Division, is establishing a Technical Advice Panel to support the work of the Forecasting and Planning function.

The Technical Advice Panel will provide DEM with streamlined access to pre-qualified suppliers who can deliver specialist technical, engineering, forecasting and market advisory services on an as-needs basis, to support:

long-term electricity demand and supply forecasting
assessment of reliability, security and adequacy of the South Australian power system
analysis of emerging technologies (e.g. storage, hydrogen, DER, large industrial loads)
planning studies and scenario analysis to inform Government decisions, policies and programs
