The Department of Human Services is seeking to select supplier(s) with the necessary skills, experience, technical depth and local presence to provide the following services:

• ongoing maintenance of software as currently managed by DHS ICT Application teams, where DHS ICT Application teams do not have capacity or skills ('Software maintenance’);
• development of software or enhancements where DHS ICT Application teams do not have capacity or skills (‘Software development’)
• Architecture and design services within the Microsoft technology space (“architecture services”)
• Holistic management of a given solution or platform to support an individual business unit’s need, for example ROMS and FSP, or DHS’s SharePoint environment covering
• Administration and maintenance
• Monitoring and support
• Development and enhancements
• Governance and compliance
• Migration and upgrades
• Training and adoption
• With the managed services having the objective of:
• Ensure consistent availability, performance, and reliability of a given environment
• Reduce operational burden on internal IT staff
• Increase resilience of support services
• Access to specialized expertise as needed
• Predictable cost model ( ‘Managed Support Services ’)
• The provision of personnel at short notice for short periods of time, at an agreed set fee, to work in-house on individual systems development projects, ('Professional Services’)
