Weddin Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified Human Resources Specialists to undertake a maximum contract for up to 3 months.

The Human Resources Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading key HR functions including Workforce strategy, employee relations, performance and development, policy and compliance and supporting organisational change initiatives.

Experience in Local Government would be highly regarded.

The primary purpose of this Expression of Interest:

The purpose of the role is to perform the duties associated with a vacant position until the vacant position is filled on a permanent basis, provided that the duration is no longer than is reasonably necessary to undertake recruitment for the vacant position (clause 36(i)(c) Local Government (State) Award 2023) due to the incumbent resigning from the position.

The position is a maximum term contract of up to three (3) months and will come to an end by the effluxion of time or earlier upon the permanent appointment of the Human Resources Specialist.
