Lismore Campus Pedestrian Walkway

⁠⁠⁠Southern Cross University (SCU) invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors (Proponents) to submit a tender for the construction of a new pedestrian walkway to facilitate safe, accessible, and convenient movement between the Military Road Carpark and A Block at the SCU Lismore Campus.

This RFT seeks competitive pricing that delivers the best overall value to SCU, while allowing flexibility to stage the project or remove selected elements from the scope, if required due to budget or program constraints.

Project Objectives

The key objectives of the project are to:

1. Provide a safe, clearly defined pedestrian connection between the Military Road Carpark and A Block.

2. Improve accessibility for all users.

3. Reduce pedestrian vehicle conflict.

4. Enhance wayfinding and arrival experience at A Block.

5. Deliver a durable, low-maintenance solution suitable for the local climate.

6. Allow staged construction or scope reduction without compromising safety or functionality.
