Spirit of the West Trail - Town Entry Signage

Balranald Shire Council, acting on behalf of Central Darling Shire Council, invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified and creative NSW-based steel fabricators for the design, supply, and installation of bespoke town entry signage across four major townships within the Central Darling Shire local government area.

This project forms part of a broader place-making and township enhancement initiative endorsed by the Far Southwest Joint Organisation (FSWJO) and aims to deliver contemporary, durable, and visually striking entry statements that reflect the identity and character of each community.

The scope includes the creation of eight (8) custom-designed town entry signs (located at the immediate entry and exit to each town), with two signs per township for the following locations:

• Wilcannia

• Ivanhoe

• Menindee

• White Cliffs

Each sign must be bespoke, visually compelling, and fabricated primarily from steel, with consideration given to the environmental conditions of outback NSW, including high UV exposure and temperature fluctuations.
