Tender Description

The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to seek quotations for the engagement of a Service Provider to perform Overflow and After Hours telephone service in accordance with the requirements, guidelines and documents described or referenced in this Specification. The Service comprises (but is not limited to);

  • receiving and responding to telephone calls during the Service times,
  • determination of a call as either an urgent or non-urgent matter,
  • immediate notification of an urgent matter to the appropriate CN officer,
  • on-line logging or reporting of non-urgent matters for CN to respond to,
  • receiving calls regarding CN employee absences and reporting same,
  • maintaining records and providing reports,
  • Screening of calls that do not relate to responsibilities of CN.

The Service is to be performed over the telephone and/or email and will include contacting CN officers by Telephone, SMS and email as directed.

Persons willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract are invited to submit a quote to the Council by the deadline, 2:00pm on Tuesday 24 February 2026.

Responsibility for lodgement of completed RFT documents by the deadline lies solely with the Supplier. RFT lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted. A pre-tender meeting will not be held.
