Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade utilises both cloud and on-prem services, is uplifting its cyber security posture. A multi-year ICT program has been established to facilitate this objective. A (Systems Analyst) is required to assist with developing detailed mapping documentation to enable cloud migrations. The Systems Analyst will work closely with business units located both domestically and internationally to achieve this objective. The analyst will need to work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. software vendors) to facilitate automated workflows between dependant systems.

The Information and Technology Division (IMD) comprises six branches and is responsible for the delivery and support of DFAT’s information and communications technologies. This includes managing technology infrastructure, delivering comprehensive ICT services and support, safeguarding data integrity and security, and strategies for future technological advancements aligned with organisational objectives.

IMD is responsible for the delivery of the Digital Uplift Program, one of DFAT’s key strategic ICT objectives. This program sits within the ICN Global Modernisation Branch (IGB) and is a multi-year program of work to replace, enhance and modernise components of the Department’s International Communications Network (ICN). The Program is multifaceted and will deliver over 15 projects to increase cyber security, ensure compliance with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Essential 8 mitigations.
