Playford Tennis Centre Court Resurfacing

The Playford Tennis Centre sits within the broader Playford Sports Precinct and plays a key role as a regional hub for sport in Adelaide's north. The venue provides high-level tennis facilities that support state, national and international events, while also offering strong opportunities for community participation, coaching and casual play.

Based on projected usage including scheduled Pro Tour events, Tennis Australia and Tennis SA recommended that acrylic resurfacing be scheduled for March/April 2026, well in advance of the following summer season and Pro Tour event.

This timing recognised that:

•  Acrylic resurfacing cannot be undertaken during winter months
•  Spring resurfacing presents significant risks due to time constraints and contractor availability prior to events
•  Adequate lead time is essential to ensure quality outcomes

 The Council will enter into an Agreement for these Services with the successful Tenderer.
