Wangaratta Depot Gate Construction

North East Water is seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to deliver the supply and installation of a new motorised security swing gate and associated access control infrastructure at the Murrell Street Depot. The works form part of a broader program to develop the site and improve site security. This upgrade will strengthen perimeter security and provide controlled vehicle entry ahead of the forthcoming depot redevelopment and new office construction project.

The new 6.0 m motorised gate, card reader bollards, induction loops, and safety systems will integrate with NEW’s existing Integriti access control system, ensuring consistency across sites and will bring the site into line with other similar facilities. The works will include all necessary civil, electrical, and commissioning activities, including footings, concrete aprons, trenching, electrical connections, and as-constructed documentation. The installation will provide a reliable, automated access solution that enhances safety, reduces manual gate operation, and aligns with the NEW’s global security strategy.
