Supply and Install Retic Pipe

City of Playford (CoP), through the Alternative Water Supply Efficiency Measures (AWSEM) Program, plans to expand its recycled water network to reduce reliance on River Murray water. The project involves installing approximately 8 km of new pipeline to supply recycled water to 18 identified sites, including 14 CoP-managed open space irrigation areas across the city

Expected Deliverables include

• Review of draft design drawings supplied by CoP; any alignment changes pre-approval by Council Representative before any construction.
•  Install new site take offs from existing HDPE pipe network.
•  Contractor to work with Council and attain 221 permit to work within CoP public road reserves.
•  Supply and install HDPE pipe via directional drilling or open trenching when necessary.
•  All HDPE pipe installed with detectable underground warning tape.
•  Supply and install all associated Gate Valve, Scour Valves, Air Valves and Hydrant Valves as per CoP’s drawing sets.
•  Testing and Commissioning.
•  Produce ‘as constructed’ drawings of the completed works.
•  All pipe termination is with gate and air valve pit chambers.
•  Complete the project works within 2026.
