Tender Description
The City of Cockburn is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the electrical compliance testing of Electrical Test and Tag, Residual Current Device (RCD), Exit and Emergency Lighting (EEL) and Microwave Emissions in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS).
This includes:
- Testing RCD’s, fixed and portable
- Inspection, test and tag of fixed and portable electrical devices
- Testing exit and emergency lighting
- Testing microwave emissions.
All testing is to be in accordance with relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS).
The proposed Contract shall be in force for an initial term of three (3) years from the date of contract award. The Principal may, at its sole discretion, extend the Contract for a further period of one (1) year and may subsequently extend it for an additional period of up to twelve (12) months, not exceeding a maximum aggregate term of five (5) years. The Contract is expected to commence in March/April 2026.

The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.
Mandatory Site Briefing:
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory.
Failure to attend this briefing will render the Tenderer ineligible to submit a Tender.
Tenderers are required to attend a Tender briefing on:
Wednesday, 11 February 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm (AWST) .
The location of the meeting is at:
City of Cockburn Operations Centre - 52 Wellard Street, Bibra Lake WA, 6163
The briefing will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the Tender.
Confirm your intention to attend by contacting Shane Pike, Service Lead City Facilities, City of Cockburn by email spike@cockburn.wa.gov.au no later than 4:00pm (AWST) Tuesday, 10 February 2026.
All attendees will be required to sign an acknowledgement register of attendance.
