Tender Description
ASD maintains two large remote Ground Station sites; one at Australian Defence Satellite Communications Station (ADSCS) and the other at Shoal Bay Receiving Station (SBRS). These sites support a range of signals intelligence and communications missions and, are maintained and supported through a comprehensive support contract that expires in June 2027.
ASD is seeking information about vendors that have the required skills and experience to provide Antenna Maintenance and site support services. The primary service requirement is for information that may contribute to the support and maintenance of the Antennas and associated RF systems at each site.
ASD has a Support Contract in place that is focused on mission delivery at both sites and relies heavily on close collaboration between Contract and ASD staff to provide the following services:
a. Antenna Maintenance
b. Communications systems maintenance and support;
c. Configuration Management, including Data and documentation;
d. Logistics support including stores, procurement, and asset management;
e. Minor Electrical and HVAC systems support (for Antenna systems), and;
f. Participation and contribution to site emergency planning and response.
The above maintenance and support functions currently employ approximately 30 specialised contract staff, all with high-level security clearances.
