Provision for Watchhouse Meals Gympie

Gympie Watchhouse is located 40 Channon Street, Gympie QLD 4570 and operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Watchhouse staff are responsible for the custody, safety, and wellbeing of prisoners. Gympie Watchhouse provides meals for approximately five (5) persons in custody daily with the potential to rise to ten (10) persons in custody over periods of time. (This figure is a guide only and the QPS does not guarantee or imply the actual number of meals required each day).

QPS is seeking quotes from accredited and licensed food and beverage Suppliers to provide three nutritious and varied meals per day to prisoners.

The three main meals are breakfast, lunch and dinner delivered via at least one (1) delivery at an agreed time by the parties every day of the year including weekends and all public holidays. Meals are required to be wholesome, varied and nutritious, catering to various medical conditions, allergies and dietary requirements where applicable.

At least 1 meal per day must be a hot meal, as agreed by the parties, with hot and cold options for breakfast, lunch and dinner provided, with final menus to be agreed upon by both parties via negotiation.
