WAN Support Services

Council is responsible for 38,039 square kilometres and supports remote offices in Dalby, Tara, Jandowae, Chinchilla, Miles and Wandoan. Due to the geographic location of the majority of Councils sites and the limited commercial grade WAN services available to these sites, WDRC has utilised a large high speed IP routed microwave network as the primary means of connectivity.

The primary aim of this tender is to select a suitable partner to maintain, service and support the existing network on Councils behalf. This includes ongoing maintenance, repairs as required and proactive monitoring of the network. A replacement of the existing infrastructure is deemed out of scope for the purposes of this tender.
