Expressions of Interest for the Purchase of Horses

Notice is given that Under Section 32(1) of the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act 2021, Upper Hunter Shire Council offers for sale by tender the following livestock:

• 1x Aged Standard Bred Bay Gelding - approx. 15 hands, age unknown
• 1x Brown Thoroughbred Mare – approx.15-16 hands, 14 years old
• 1x Bay Mare – approx. 13 hands, age unknown

To arrange an inspection call Council’s Compliance Officer during office hours only on 02 65401100.

Council reserves the right to sell the horses either as a group or individually following the Expressions of Interest.

Expressions of Interest must be marked clearly – “Expression of Interest for the sale of horses”, and provide the name, address and contact details of the tenderer along with the maximum bid for each horse or for all horses as a group.

The successful tenderer must collect and remove the horses by 3.30pm Friday 20 February.
