PSA for the Supply and Delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete & Associated Products (REFRESH)

Dear Valued Suppliers

Southern Downs Regional Council is responsible for the construction, rehabilitation, upgrade and maintenance of a large amount of infrastructure that falls under the Local Government’s ownership or area of responsibility.

In providing this service to the community, significant amounts of concrete is required on numerous occasions throughout the year.

Therefore, the purpose of this Preferred Supplier Arrangement (“PSA”) is to form a panel of suppliers with the ability to readily supply materials without calling individual quotations for each occasion of supply. This panel will be formed and operated within the guidelines of the Local Government Act and Southern Downs Regional Council Procurement Policy.

This contract will be broken into two (2) portions:

•Portion A – Supply and delivery of concrete (including coloured concrete & accelerants etc.)

•Portion B – Supply and delivery of associated products (i.e. reinforcing products and accessories, key joints, etc.)

Contractors may submit for either just Portion A, just Portion B or both (this information is to be nominated in Part 3 – Response Schedule). This arrangement will be valid for 1 year with 1 option of a 1-year extension to be exercised at Councils sole discretion and by mutual agreement by all parties in writing.
